BIOL 106 Microbes and Society
Microbes and Society provide students with a comprehensive understanding of how microbes impact various aspects of life, including health, food production, environmental processes, and biotechnology. Students will be able to analyze the role of microbes in everyday situations and discuss relevant societal issues related to microbial ecology, biotechnology, human health, and disease control. Key scientific topics taught will include the scientific process, evolution, microbial cell structures and functions, microbial genetics and heredity, microbial ecology, and biotechnology.

This course will be taught as a Hy-Flex class and online. This course may be taken with or without a lab.
