PHIL 107 Social and Political Philosophy

Social and Political Philosophy (3 semester credits) explores key themes and theories in social and political thought. The course covers topics such as the nature of justice, liberty, equality, property, sovereignty, and the legitimacy of government. It examines the ideas of classical, modern, and contemporary thinkers to understand the relationships between the individual, the state, and the meaning of freedom and democracy.
