Tuition
Credit Courses
In-District Tuition: $165.00 per semester hour - For students under age 60*.
*Tuition is waived for in-district students age 60 or older. The $40 per credit hour technology/activity fee and course fees are not waived. Offerings of the Corporate and Community Education division are exempted from this provision as are all noncredit courses.
Out-of-District Tuition: $315.00 per semester hour - For students without authorized partial student support.
Employed 35 Hours In-District (Student or dependent of): $165.00 per semester hour - For Out-of-district or Out-of-state who are employed 35 or more hours per week in-district, for students and dependents.
Out-of-State Tuition: $315.00 per semester hour - For students who reside outside of Illinois.
Out-of-State Tuition - Indiana 7 County: $165.00 per semester hour - For students who reside within a specially designated 7 county area (counties include: Vermillion, Parke, Fountain, Warren, Tippecanoe, Benton and Montgomery).
International Tuition: $315.00 per semester hour - For students who are not US citizens.
The College may designate some course offerings as a special course that will waive the tuition and fees for all students, regardless of their residency, who are registered for the course. Students can also audit the course and still have the tuition/fees waived.
Specific Instructional Programs
Radiologic Technology, Sonography, and Echo Programs - $330.00 per semester credit hour for in-district students, $412.00 per semester credit hour for Indiana students residing in the 7 county area, and $480.00 per semester credit hour for out-of-district students. The Technology/Activity Fee of $40 per semester credit hour applies to all students.
Tractor Trailer Driving Program - For the 11 credit hour program, $4,125.00. For the 16 hour credit hour program, $6,000.00.
Non-Credit Courses
Fees for non-credit courses are based on the nature and length of the course. The tuition rate is not applicable to these courses.
Out-of-district students pay the same fees as in-district students as these classes are self-supporting.

Additional Fees
All students, regardless of residency status, will be charged a $40.00 per credit hour technology/activity fee.
Many courses require a course fee in addition to tuition and other fees. Course fees vary. They cover the cost of materials, lab equipment, special services and software, and other costs. Students will be billed for any breakage of laboratory equipment. Payment for breakage must be made before term grades are released.
Some courses are designated Follett Access. This is a fee for course materials that are available on the first day of class. Follett Access fees can be found on the Tuition & Fees page on the website: https://dacc.edu/tuition-fees.These fees are added to the student account and paid through the business office, not the bookstore.
Official Transcript of Credits: $7.50 for each copy.
Auditing: Plus applicable fees, per semester hour is $165.00. Proficiency examinations minimum of one credit hour of tuition. All fiscal obligations due the College must be cleared prior to registration for a subsequent term and prior to graduation.
Proficiency Exam Fee: The fee to take a proficiency examination shall be a minimum of one credit hour tuition or one-half the current tuition of the college for that course, whichever is greater.
Course Repeat Fee: If a student chooses to repeat a course "after" the number of approved repeats has been completed, a course repeat fee will be added to the residency-based tuition rate. The fee is equal to the State apportionment for the course, rounded up to the nearest dollar per credit hour. Students may consult the Director of Admissions & Records/Registrar for the exact amount and information on the number of times a course may be repeated. The course repeat fee is not an allowable fee for student financial aid. However, the fee can be deducted from any refund a student may be getting.
On-Line Credit Courses: Tuition and Fees
Tuition: In-district students will be charged $165.00 in tuition per semester credit hour; all other residency students will be charged $315.00 per credit hour.
Fees: Students will be charged a fee of $100.00 per course plus a $40.00 technology/activity fee per credit hour (some exclusions apply).
