2026-2027 Catalog

Applied Computer Science, AAS

This is an Associate in Applied Science degree.

This program teaches how data, cloud technology, automation, and artificial intelligence work together in real-world applications. Students build a strong foundation in programming, develop skills in AI-assisted coding, and create cloud-ready solutions using industry-relevant tools. Students then choose technical electives in areas such as Data Analytics/Artificial Intelligence, DevOps (cloud-based solutions), Software Development, or Game Design. Graduates are prepared for entry-level careers such as software developer, web developer, data analyst, database technician, or DevOps support specialist. This is primarily an occupational degree, though transfer opportunities may be available through select articulation agreements.
