Child Development Center

The Child Development Center is located on the west side of the DACC campus. The Center is a licensed daycare facility with a preschool program. The Center is accredited by ExceleRate IL at the Silver Circle level of Quality. The professional staff has degrees in Early Childhood Education. The Center’s activities support the idea that children learn through hands-on experiences. Learning is geared to the child’s development and ability. The Child Development Center accepts any child between the ages of 2 to 5 years old during the year and 6 years old to 12 years old during the summer months. The Center is open to children of college students as well as any child in the community.

Hours:   7:15 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., 51 weeks per year.
              Closed on all major holidays
              Closed the week between Christmas and New Year’s Day
