BOFF 265 Virtual Technology for Business
Virtual technology is becoming an increasingly important part of the professional arena; new and emerging technologies are inundating the workplace. This course is designed to introduce students to a variety of virtual technology platforms, prompting them to be more comfortable with the ever-changing world of technology and ultimately making them more marketable to employers. Topics include using digital tools to increase efficiency and productivity, artificial intelligence, immersive technologies, quick response (QR) codes, virtual teams and meetings, email, and more. At the end of the course, students should be proficient in communicating virtually, confident in their ability to learn new technologies and comfortable using technology to enhance their personal work performance.
