CRMC 160 Virtual Practicum

This virtual practicum serves as the final step in the Cancer Registry Management Certificate Program. It offers students online activities focused on the technical aspects of cancer registry operations and cancer surveillance methods, designed to complement their prior coursework. All required activities and assessments mandated by the NCRA are included and completed within the NCRA platform. A strong theoretical foundation from program courses is critical for understanding the core concepts and principles of cancer registry work. As a result, students must complete CRMC 100, 110, 120, 130, 140, and 150 before starting the practicum. Upon successful completion of the coursework, practicum, and core competency assessments, students become eligible to apply for the Oncology Data Specialist (ODS) exam.
