HORT 161 Floral Design I
Students will learn the basics of floral design. This includes the identification of plant materials and accessories as they apply to the retail florist industry. Labs will include design practice in arrangements trending in fresh and silk floral arrangements. Application projects of real flower shop work focusing on design speed and quality as well as marketing strategies and pricing.
