INFO 163 Client Operating Systems
This course provides students with the knowledge and skills necessary to implement, administer, and troubleshoot information systems that incorporate Microsoft Windows Client Operating Systems. Students will learn about and use the various tools for installing, administering, and configuring Windows including the Microsoft Management Console, Task Scheduler, Control Panel, and Registry Editor. Students will also learn about and manage print devices, shared and NTFS permissions, data storage and disk-quotas, EFS, remote access, and troubleshooting hardware devices and drivers. This course maps out fully to Microsoft's latest Windows desktop certification exam.
