INST 121 Middle College Government
Instruction covers modern political and economic systems of government, the origins of the United States, and the federal system of government. Topics also include amendments to the constitution, political parties, and the American Electorate, the electoral process, and the role that public opinion and pressure groups play in American politics. The course concludes with an in-depth study of the three branches of the federal government, the Illinois State Constitution, and the Federal Constitution. The course meets the Constitution Requirement of the Illinois State School Code.
