ROBO 100 Introduction to Robotics

This course is an introduction to the field of robotics. At the end of this course the student will have practical exposure to the fundamental aspects of robotics. Hands-on assignments will be utilized to give students exposure to working with circuit boards, sensors, and related hardware that will culminate in a physical robot build. Students will then work with two programming languages and configure a Linux environment for operational control and functionality of the robot build. This course provides a platform for students interested in the robotics field to explore additional course offerings in the DACC technology degree pathways and to help identify possible areas of specialization.
