SOCY 205 Juvenile Delinquency
This course is an overview and analysis of the juvenile justice system in the United States. History and the philosophies of society's reaction to juvenile behavior and problems. Interaction among the police, judiciary, and corrections are examined within the context of cultural influences. This course introduces theoretical perspectives of causation and control.
Prerequisite
Take ENGL 121, or successfully place out, and have,completed SOCY 100 with a grade of "C" or higher
