Transfer Programs
Below are the minimum entrance requirements for the Associate in Science (AS), Associate in Arts (AA), Associate in Engineering Science (AES), Associate in Fine Arts in Art (AFA), Associate in Fine Arts in Art Education (AFAE), Associate in Fine Arts in Music Education (AFAME), and Associate in Fine Arts in Music Performance (AFAMP) degree programs. These are in accordance with Public Act 86-0954 which requires all community colleges providing transfer degree programs to establish and have in effect minimum entrance requirements comparable to those of the state universities.
Students who do not meet the minimum requirements listed below and do not place by any additional measures (SAT/ACT, AP/CLEP/IB, or placements tests) must then complete college-level courses to meet the minimum requirements.
These requirements are for all students pursing the listed transfer degrees:
