2026-2027 Catalog

GECC, Certificate

GECC credential represents completion of the General Education Core Curriculum as a part of a transferrable degree. Completion of the GECC assures transferring students that lower-division general education requirements for an associate or bachelor's degree have been satisfied. Completion of the GECC also meets the general education requirements for all of DACC's transfer associate degrees and the state's IAI agreement between participating colleges. The credential is not a workforce certificate nor industry-recognized credential.
