Student Employment

A limited number of positions are available on the campus for students in good academic standing.

Students interested in student employment should complete an application online at https://dacc.edu/hr. Click on "Position Openings" and then "Create Account." Once completed, student applications will be eligible for review by offices across campus. The Career & Employment Services Center will provide assistance if needed.

DACC identifies 2 types of student employees. Type is defined by the funding source and the student's financial need.

Federal Work-Study (funded by federal government):


  1. Students are eligible to participate in the Federal College Work-Study Program if they qualify under the following terms:
    1. Applied for financial aid using the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)
    2. Have a completed, verified as accurate, student aid file on record for the applicable award year
    3. Their Expected Family Contribution (efc) determines a need (eligibility)
    4. Degree Seeking and accepted for enrollment as a student or already in good standing as an undergraduate student
    5. Have met Satisfactory Academic Standards
    6. Enrolled in at least 3 credit hours of coursework pertaining to Degree
  2. College Student Employee (funded by DACC):
    1. Students are eligible to participate in the College Work-Study Program if they qualify under the following terms:
    2. Degree Seeking or accepted for enrollment as a student or already in good standing as an undergraduate student
    3. Have met Academic Progress Standards
