NURS 121 Health Occupations II

The final 54 hours of a 99-hour program meets the spring semester and is designed to prepare students to provide basic health care in health care facilities such as hospitals and nursing homes. Instruction will include topics such as infection control, safety and body mechanics, emergency care, lifting and moving a resident, personal care skills, basic nursing skills, nutrition and elimination, and rehabilitation & restorative care. The course is designed to prepare students to provide basic health care in hospitals and nursing homes. This course is a continuation of NURS 120.
