SONO 111 Patient Care
This course is designed to introduce the student to patient care and to prepare the student for clinical practice. Topics introduced will include but are not limited to methods of infection control, vital signs, patient care partnership and patient directives, transfer and transport of patients, clinical history, and life-threatening situations and emergency care. This course includes a weekly lab component that is designed to provide a hands-on learning experience for patient care used in sonography/echocardiography.
